Give from IRA: A Tax‑Smart Way to Support Meaningful Action
If you’re age 70½ or older, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your traditional IRA to the Alliance—an easy, tax‑wise way to put your retirement savings into action for the movement for better deaths.
When you make a QCD, your gift goes straight to the Alliance and is excluded from your taxable income. That means it can help you avoid paying taxes on your required minimum distribution (RMD) once you turn 73 and may prevent your income from pushing you into a higher tax bracket.
Each year, you can give up to $111,000 per person (or $222,000 for married couples filing jointly) directly to qualified nonprofits like NHAELO.
Your gift transforms a lifetime of savings into meaningful action — advancing education, safeguards, and compassionate choice at life’s end.
